Recent Adventures
The Showdown (Session 24): The session opened in
the ruins of Jing Xu, where the party regrouped with Asante and
learned of a secret entrance to the Clockwork Citadel from Victor
Dowelloft’s journal. To create a diversion, Akemi rallied the five
races of the Ebon Accord into a frontal assault while the party
approached by lake aboard the Goat Float, only to be ambushed by their
old Hammership, now crewed by hostile clerics. After a fierce aerial
battle and Cut-Cut’s controlled crash, the group infiltrated the
Citadel, bypassed guards, and navigated a flooded chamber filled with
giant leeches before solving two intricate mechanical puzzles that
opened the way to a grand ballroom. There, Yorrok revealed the journal
was a trap and unleashed a brutal battle, killing Bao Bao and nearly
the entire party before they were revived by magical pomegranates. As
Yorrok’s fractured personality split into good and evil halves, his
attempt to destroy the Shining Tetrahedron triggered an explosion that
annihilated both versions of himself and the artifact. In the
aftermath, Adrian’s Library Card manifested a fleeting escape door,
through which the party departed.

The Library (Session 25): The Feinting GOATs’
journey carried them from bittersweet reunions at Cloud Path Monastery
and Rivière Dorado into Lance Dowelloft’s pocket library, where they
learned the cosmic stakes of their quest and Adrian’s role in forging
a god-slaying weapon. Their path wound through Hell, where Muse
Cantor’s heavy-metal “rehabilitation” of souls set the stage for the
destruction of the Rat King’s Crown and the forging of the God-Slayer
Gun, before leading them into Rakkizibar’s chaotic realm of impossible
libraries and nonsense riddles. There, amid memory-stealing Book
Scorpions and surreal combat, Adrian struck the decisive blow that
unmade the Protean Lord. Escaping the collapsing realm, the party
destroyed the final artifact in the Maukoru Archipelago, where
Korloth’s people rallied with Merfolk, Sea Elves, and Hutaakans to
launch the Titan Plan—an alliance to awaken ancient beings like
Khumbaba, the Kraken, and Apophis—setting the stage for the GOATs’
next great challenge: an assault on the North Pole to breach Mysterra.

The Assault on the North Pole (Session 26): The
Feinting GOATs’ march into the far north tested the hard‑won
resilience they’d forged through hellish trials, leading them past
ancient runestones to the North Pole’s impenetrable barrier and into
the orbit of Gebo, a cheerfully dubious Tomte whose black‑market
village armed them with a counterfeit key and a mission to defeat the
monstrous Guardians. After witnessing the strange birth of a new Tomte
from a cracked rune stone, the party triggered the barrier’s defenses
and endured a brutal gauntlet against Grandfather Winter and his
titanic allies: the Evergreen Terror, Gingersnap, and General
Crack‑Jaw—ultimately claiming the runes needed to solve a circuit of
pedestal puzzles and unlock the path to Ded Moroz. Confronted by
Father Frost and his army, the GOATs fought through teleporting
troops, suppressive magic, and Krampus himself—banishing the demon
with relics from their earliest adventures—until Moroz, seeing the
battle’s futility, offered them conditional passage into Mysterra.
Revealing a colossal magma‑and‑earth elemental named Blorb and the
yawning entrance below, he warned they could bring only 42 magic items
without drawing Ka’s deadly attention. As the GOATs prepared to
descend, Lenti realized their own transformation required a different
path, parting ways with the party at the brink of the world
beneath.
