SPECIAL QUALITIES
Skeletal Traits (Ex) A skeleton loses all racial bonuses, traits, and abilities it had in life. It has darkvision 60 ft. It is immune to cold, disease, exhaustion, fatigue, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning. Skeletons are also immune to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless). They are not subject to nonlethal damage, ability drain, or energy drain. Skeletons are damaged by positive energy as if they were undead and are healed by negative energy. They are immune to death effects, and mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects).
Temporary Existence (Su) As a summoned creature, the Megaraptor Skeleton remains for only the duration of the Summon Undead spell (1 round/level). It returns to its home plane when destroyed or when the spell ends.
Summoned Creature Traits (Ex) A summoned Megaraptor Skeleton cannot summon or otherwise conjure another creature, nor can it use any teleportation or planar travel abilities. It attacks the caster's opponents to the best of its ability. If the caster can communicate with the skeleton (typically via negative energy effects or specific necromantic spells, as it is mindless), they can direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions.
DESCRIPTION
This towering skeletal form is unmistakably that of a fearsome predatory dinosaur. Bleached bones, stained with age and earth, articulate a creature built for speed and power. Its large skull, filled with dagger-like teeth, sits atop a flexible neck. Long, powerful legs end in wickedly curved talons, and its forelimbs, though smaller, also sport sharp claws. An eerie, faint blue light sometimes flickers within its empty eye sockets, the only hint of the unholy energy animating it. It moves with a surprising and unsettling agility for its size, its bony feet clicking ominously on any hard surface.
SUMMONING NOTES
Warning: While under the control of the summoner for the spell's duration, this creature is a mindless engine of destruction animated by negative energy. Ensure it is dismissed or its duration expires before it can cause unintended harm. It has no loyalty or understanding beyond its programmed directives.
